caught up in your symphony
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” John 17:20-21
My child,
You believed in me through the message of my Son. You are now a vital member of our family. No one can ever take your place. Although our family is large, I will never create another just like you.
Take up the unique role in our family that I designed for you. By the power of my Spirit, I can accomplish my glorious purposes through you. Sit and soak in my presence, so you may serve in my power.
I desire for you to be caught up in the symphony I am writing. I have perfect harmony with my Spirit and Son. I want you, also, to enjoy that beautiful music with your forever family and me.
Quickly set aside things that create discord. As my glorious love song rises up in my children, others will be drawn to me. I love you just as I love my Son. I love you perfectly and unconditionally. It is not possible for me to love you any other way.
Play in the light of my love today. Encourage your brothers and sisters to join in. The world is so hungry for my music.
I love you,
Abba
My Abba,
You always know just what I need. I want to be captivated by your music today. Please still my heart and mind and draw me into your eternal melody. The unity you describe in the Trinity is what I want to experience with you and others. I want to be one with you and your children.
I am thinking about when a young child repetitively hits a single note on a piano. After awhile, it can make the listener feel a bit crazy. Not exactly engaging. But it doesn’t make that one note wrong or “less than.” If that note becomes a part of a chord and is placed in a score with other beautiful chords to create magnificent harmony, everything changes. That note could become part of a work of art that blesses hearts and minds for generations.
I don’t want to just stand alone playing my one note. I want to be part of your eternal chorus. Show me how to join in your glorious song and enjoy the matchless pleasure of our unity.
With my brothers and sisters, let me enter into the delightful celebration of you, which you orchestrated before the beginning of time. I want to play my instrument in your opus. I know we don’t all play the same instrument or, even, the same notes. But when we play our parts and are in tune with you, your symphony is breathtaking!
I love you,
Mollie
